Measuring 46.5 mm in diameter and 15.5 mm in height, the watch features a black dial paired with a white rubber strap, a screwed-in crown, and 6 Bar water resistance. Its convex sapphire crystal has antireflective coating on both sides and is secured against displacement caused by a drop in air pressure. The watch also features a power reserve display, small hacking seconds, and a synthetic sapphire crystal case back.

The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured Calibre 52616, an automatic self-winding movement operating at 28,800 Vph (4 Hz) with an impressive 168-hour, or seven-day, power reserve. Comprising 379 components and 54 jewels, the movement features Pellaton automatic winding and a rotor with an 18-carat gold medallion.
