The Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Edition collection is made up of three editions. Each edition, is inspired by one of the original characters from Le Petit Prince, and symbolises the powerful messages and life lessons the characters portray such as creating meaningful connections, fostering creativity and nurturing love:

• The Fox: 1st edition launched in 2018 features the character of the fox who instructs the little prince on the importance of human bonds and friendship.

Let’s take an in-depth look at the third edition of the Meisterstück Le Petit Prince called “The Planet”.

The latest edition of Montblanc Meisterstück Le Petit Prince symbolizes the close connection and affection that the little prince feels for his planet and the roses. He takes care of his planet, asteroid B612, preventing bad seeds from growing and protecting his beloved roses. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s lesson about care is a reminder for us to cherish our own planet.

For this edition, each writing instrument is created in a deep burgundy colour as a reference to the rose and the planet, and is combined with champagne gold accents.

The polished burgundy-coloured precious resin on the cap and barrel, of Meisterstück Le Petit Prince LeGrand and Classique, is a reference to the prince’s beloved rose. The handcrafted champagne toned gold-coated nib of the LeGrand and the Classique fountain pen features Petit Prince’s rose drawing. Contrasting with the precious burgundy translucent lacquered barrel, the champagne toned gold-plated cap of the Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Doué Classique is etched with stars and the name of asteroid B612.

The Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Solitaire LeGrand Fountain Pen  is crafted from European hornbeam wood with a wine colored stain. On the cap, the central ring of the three platinum-coated rings features the Montblanc brand name and the wood is decorated with a milled star pattern featuring B612 on the backside.

The clip of every edition is adorned with a lacquer golden color star, a reference to the Little Prince’s invitation to the pilot to remember his laugh by simply looking at the stars. The cap of each writing instrument is etched with the expressive words of the fox: “On ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur” (“One sees clearly only with the heart”).
